Hello Representative Tom McClintock,

While we, Iranian-Americans, do very much appreciate your initiative in support of our struggle for regime change, and creation of a peaceful secular democracy respectful of human rights, we need to ask you to remove all and any references to MEK and Maryam Rajavi in this bill.  MEK deep down does not stand for secular democracy, and are adherents of a mixture of fundamentalist Islam and Marxism. MEK is highly unpopular among all Iranian people. The Woman, Life, Freedom movement totally and utterly rejects MEK as it’s leader.

Please note that based on a recent survey by GAAMAN, the majority of Iranian people chose Reza Pahlavi followed by Ali Daaii, who lives in Iran, Ali Karimi, and Hamed Esmaelion as their opposition leaders.  In fact, in this survey, Maryam Rajavi is not even in the top 30th. 

Please support the Woman Life Freedom movement by engaging with our popular leaders, and not with the discredited MEK and its deeply unpopular Maryam Rajavi.
