Sample Letter to the Chair of Foreign Affairs Committee (for copy and paste):

Honorable Senator Bob Menendez,

While we, Iranian-Americans, do very much appreciate the support of the US Government for our struggle for regime change in Iran and creation of a peaceful secular democracy respectful of human rights, we need to ask you for your help to have UK ad EU designate Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp (IRGC) as a terrorist organization.

IRGC which was created by Khomeini in 1979 has a singular constitutional mandate to defend and export Islamic Republic revolution by any means necessary. The leaders of Iran are racketeers, not revolutionaries.  They have created IRGC, a group of violent thugs, much similar to the Mafia, to crush and suppress Iranians' peaceful and unarmed struggle for their most fundamental human rights, to conduct terrorist activities in the Middle East and the world, and help IRI with its nuclear proliferation objectives. 

All of these are against the US and its allies' objectives and values. This designation brings unprecedented pressure on figures who lead the regime's terror campaign against its own people, the Middle East and the whole Western world.   Designating them as a terrorist organization will deprive the world's leading state sponsor of terror the financial means to spread misery and death in Iran and around the world.
