• He has written into the constitution laws that has made him the infallible ruler and tyrant sanctioned by god.
• He has written into the constitution laws that are in absolute defiance of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness of our people.
• He has written into the constitution laws that render our women subservient to men and the government by denying them of their most basic human rights such as right to travel, work, and study without the consent of the patriarch.  
• He has written into the constitution laws that deny our people right to education based on arbitrary decrees. It denies the right to education to all Bahai’s, and those that are deemed ‘disagreeable”.  
• He has denied our citizens the most basic human rights such as freedom to choose the names of children, or our businesses.  He denies our women the right to choose their own attire. 
• He handpicks his Parliamentarians and his president. He denies our people to choose their own representatives. 
• He has established his own Judiciary powers and has given them all the power to act with great impunity in serving his absolute rule.  
• He passes, alters, or removes laws as it suits him, and without a legitimate process of obtaining majority consent.  
• He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent swarms of Officers to harass our people, and plunder their substance. 
• He has kept among us, in times of peace, paramilitary groups under his sole control and without the Consent of our people.
• He has affected to render the “Sepah Pasdaran” independent of and superior to the Civil power.
• He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our history, and unacknowledged by our natural laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation. 
• He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to support the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation. 
• He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries. 
• He has plundered our resources, ravaged our environment, and destroyed the lives of our people. 
• He has pushed Iran, a resource rich country into poverty, and extreme disparity of wealth.   
• For violently denying Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness of all our men and women. 
• For denying free expression in speech, arts, and truth in reporting of news and events. 
• For denying woman her right as legal guardian and full righted parent of her own children. 
• For excluding religious minorities from a life of dignity and equal to others under the law.  
• For killing, torturing, imprisoning and confiscating the wealth of innocent and peaceful opponents with impunity.  
• For 43 years of mismanaging Iran’s financials, political relationships, environment and bringing about ruins to all these elements.

In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Ruler whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

We, therefore, the Representatives of the secular federation of Iran, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of  our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these territories, solemnly publish and declare, That this land  ought to be Free and Independent ; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the Faghih, and that all political connection between us and the Faghih, is and ought to be totally dissolved.
